Description
Probably 17th century in origins but there is little evidence now visible to support this. The house was remodelled in the 18th and 19th centuries, when the rear wing and lower end were added, and its external appearance is largely of that period. There has been some rewindowing in the late 20th century and the interior has been greatly changed.

A two storey farmhouse built of local rubble stone which is rendered and painted, with a Welsh slate roof. There is a long, single depth range with an additional wing set down the slope to the right and a rear service wing. In the main uphill range is a roughly central doorway with a 19th century, exposed stone, Gothic porch, and a 19th century panelled door. The front to the right of the porch is slightly set forward. To the left of the porch is a square window, and a single-storey bay window, and there is a similar bay window to the right of the porch, these bays have lean-to roofs and are probably early 20th century. On first floor are four roughly square windows, generally with 19th century timber casement glazing. The roof has rectangular end chimneys which appear to be 19th century brick ones.
The lower, two storey block to right has a chimney to the gable end, a single square window to each floor, and a larger ground floor window on the left.
There is a rear, two storey crosswing to main section of house. This has no stack and a single window on each floor on either side. There is an outshut behind right hand section of house.

One of the farm outbuildings is thought to retain a small relief carving of a human face by the notable antiquarian, Iolo Morganwg (died 1826).
