Description

In 1869 'a few stones' were said to remain of a cromlech or megalithic chambered tomb. There are now no visible remains and it is possible that the stones referred to were natural boulders or outcroppings.
The site was labelled as 'Cromlech (remains of)' on early editions of OS County series (Anglesey XVI.3 1889-1900), but was 'Cromlech (site of)' on the third edition of 1924.
The farm to the north-east is named 'Cromlech'.
