Description
All that remains of the Woodlands Bridge is a fine ashalr pillar on the south side of the Llangollen Canal, which originally supported a typical canal footbridge; the footings of the northern support are buried. The bridge was designed by William Jessop and Thomas Telford and constructed between 1795-1801.
