Soilmark of a ploughed-down round barrow, similar to those comprising main barrow cemetery to south-east, discovered during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 22nd June 2005 (air photo ref: AP_2005_0974). Faint marking of a second barrow some 40m to the north, close to field boundary. The soilmarks cannot be reconciled with the GGAT site record close by of an 'enclosure' (PRN 00765s).
