DescriptionA stone-built textile mill beside the Llangollen Canal towing-path and the main road to Trevor north of the River Dee. The mill was powered by canal water from the Llangollen Canal, the water intake located under the canal towing path. The mill is now converted to secondary uses.
Mills powered by water from a navigable canal are unusual, and this shows abundance of water feeds in Welsh Uplands. It worked in conjunction with Dee Mill to the south (now demolished) which was powered by the River Dee. The features are late nineteenth century in date.
