Whitland Board School built in 1875 by the Llanboidy and Llangwm United District School Board. Comparison between historic and more recent mapping suggests that the school has been considerably extended. Currently in use as Ysgol Llys Hywel, a dual-stream school for children from 4 to 11 years old.
