A public plateway, about one mile long, which originally connected the Watton Wharf (nprn 406890) of the Brecknock and Abergavenny Canal (nprn 85124) with Bold's Wharf (nprn 406889); a siding served the Brecknock Boat Company's Wharf (nprn 85500). The plateway made an end-on junction with the Hay Railway (nprn 91560) near the Watton and was in operation by 1816.
