Description
A rubble stone quay immediately to the south of the site of the 17th century Melincryddan Canal which marked the original south terminus of the Neath Canal.
On the OS 25-inch map (1877) there is a large building on the quay, which was partly demolished for the Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway before 1897, and there is also a saw pit.
