Description
Arnold House, Llanddulas is a substantial 3-storey house made up of several buildings. It is known to have been a boy's school from c1863 and a Jewish convalescent home from 1943. Evelyn Waugh was a teacher there from 1925, and the school is said to have been the model for 'Llanabba Castle' in his novel 'Decline and Fall'. The building is now known as Llanddulas Hall and is in use as a country club.
