DescriptionTrevethin Community School, Pontypool was originally built in c.1835 as a Baptist College in late Regency style. It is a substantial 2-storey building in 3 sections, having hipped roofs and round-headed entrances which are echoed in tall, inset arches along the connecting section. The building became Pontypool Girls' Grammar School in 1897 and Trevethin Comprehensive School in 1982. The school was closed in 2007.
