    Description
    The two-storey Lock Cottage at Pool Quay was built between 1819 and 1821 by the Eastern Branch of the Montgomeryshire Canal, it was enlarged during the early eighteenth-century providing accommodation which was generous in comparison with that provided on other Welsh canals.
