DescriptionColeg Harlech originated as Plas Wernfawr, built in 1908, and was established as an adult college in 1927. The complex consists of the former Plas Wernfawr with a later library wing adjoining and other 1930s additions and alterations. The main (former house) section is a fine early twentieth-century Arts and Crafts Georgian style building of two storeys, constructed of slatestone with squared, snecked, quarry-dressed facings, under a slate roof.
