A rendered, slate-roofed one-and-a-half storey dwelling with attached garage occupies the exact footprint of a former water mill, presumed to be one of the three mills offered for sale by auction on 8 August 1850. In the garden to the north is a rectangular-section chimney, approximately 40ft high, built of stone with the top 10ft of brick. To the north-east of the chimney is the site of the former mill dam, now obscured by vegetation.
