DescriptionMelin Ddrydwy is shown as a corn mill on the 1st and 2nd OS maps (1889 and 1900), but was disused by the time of the 3rd Edition, 1920.
Only part of an extension at the southern end of the mill survives, the coarse rubblestone walls extended with breeze-block and with a lean-to corrugated iron roof. The mill itself was 8.7 by 5 metres internally, and the waterwheel was positioned on the north gable in a pit 2.0 metres wide. In 1975 there was no surviving machinery, but the initials WxTM were noted on a wooden beam.
