Danygraig Farmhouse is possibly of early origins. It was remodelled or rebuilt in late C18 to early C19, and the exterior was altered c1900 and again in the later C20. It is said to have been part of the Castell Gorfod estate. It is a two-storey building with slate roofs and flat eaves. The exterior of the house has C20 dry-dash cladding and a cement plinth with C20 red brick end stacks.
It is listed primarily for the special interest of the historic character of the Georgian interior which includes broad six-panel doors, shutters, dados, skirtings, and, more unusually, wall-panelling.
