A visit in 1975 identified traces of a leat and small pond, leading to the scattered footings of a building at this site. The leat and pond are shown on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS map (1889 and 1900), but not on the 3rd edition of 1924.
In November 2008 the path of the leat was still visible in the form of a terrace on the east side of the valley. The wheelpit and lower part of the mill wall with an axle hole were visible, but the rest of the building must be buried in the adjacent field.
