DescriptionOval hillfort occupying prominent west-facing hillock which dominates the middle part of the Thaw valley. The fort measures approx. 228m east-west by 150m north-south and encloses 2.9ha. Although the central and western parts of the fort are ploughed down and only visible from the air, the eastern rampart is fossilised in the present field boundary and appears to be well-preserved as an earthwork. Recorded during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 21st July 2008.
