DescriptionA disused windmill is shown on the 1st and 2nd editions of the 25-inch OS maps (1889 and 1900), adjacent to cottages which are named Ty-coch on the 1st edition and Ty'nlon on the 2nd edition. By 1924, the date of the 3rd edition, it had been demolished.
Guise and Lees (Windmills of Anglesey, Attic Books 1992, pp30-32) record that the mill was the last windmill to be built in Anglesey, by Hugh Jones in 1862, and that it probably became disused soon after his death in 1880. They give a list of the mill's internal equipment.
