Description
A ruined drystone rectangular building is located on the N bank of the stream, raised slightly above it. Overall the remains measure 8.7m (E-W) by about 4m, the south long wall indistinct due to erosion. The interior is strewn with rubble but there is visible evidence for a partition wall which divided the building into two compartments. There are no obvious entrance gaps in the wall footings. The walling is best displayed on the N side where it is 0.75m thick and rises to 0.5m, formed of coursed slabs. The site is overgrown with rushes and grasses and a Hawthorn tree is growing close to the SW corner of the structure.
A little to the E of the building is a small terraced area on the N cutting side apparently revetted with slabs.
