Description
On the north bank of the stream, at 430m OD, is a rectangular drystone building, one of two (see NPRN 408234 ), and about 20m NE of its neighbourbut perhaps even more ruinous. Where wall edges are visible an external dimensions of 7.7m (E-W) by 5.2m are suggested, 5.5m by 2.9m internally. Both E and W end walls are 1.2m thick and survive to 0.5m high. The E and S walls show evidence for inner slab facings. Traces of a cross wall divided the building into two roughly equal bays. There is an entrance gap on the N side of the E bay, obscured by rubble.
