Description
On the N bank of the stream and aligned at right angles to it, is a ruined longhut. Overall it measures 7m (N-S) by 4.4m. The N bay measures 1.8m (E-W) by 3m, its spread turfed-over walls 0.5m high. The S bay is represented by a stony mound 4.5m (E-W) by 3.8m and 0.6m high, possibly formed by a collapsed chimney stack. The corners of the S end wall are visible and noticeably rounded. There are no obvious entrances.
On the E a wall of stones has recently been piled up while adjacent on the W an enclosure 3m square formed of large stones 0.2m high may also be of recent construction.
