Description
A long hut is located on the N bank of the stream within a forestry plantation close to the Beacons Reservoir. Overall it measures 8m (E-W) by 3.8m, its walls composed of boulders and massive slabs most evident at its E and W ends. A large conifer growing within the building at its W end has distorted the interior plan but it appears to have be divided into two compartments with a possible entrance close to what may have been the dividing wall.
A platformed area 2m-3m square to the east of the building may have been an ancillary structure.
