Description
The earthwork remains of a building are located on the banks of what is now the Beacons Reservoir. It takes the form of a rectangular enclosure measuring overall 8m (E-W) by 5.2m its walls grassed- over banks up to 2m wide and 0.5m high. There is an entrance gap in the W end of the S wall. From the SW corner there projects a stony bank which curves to the W to follow the stream bank, its total length about 17m. It is 2m wide and 0.5m high fading to 1m wide and 0.3m high. It lies close to a sheep fold which lies to the NW.
