DescriptionCropmarks show an enclosure approx. 20m square, with other curving and straight ditches in the vicinity, together with several indistinct marks of pits and other features. In the field to the north-east (at SJ 0595 6522), a further indistinct square cropmark can be made out as a green-on-green mark in unripened crop. The cropmarks appear likely to represent at least one square barrow; it is too small for a defended enclosure and unlikely to be Roman. The nature and age of the remaining cropmarks are difficult to discern. Discovered during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 24th July 2008 (image refs: AP_2008_2074-6).
