Description
Built circa 1895, by the architect, EWM Corbett, the Club building is a three-storey "Queen Ann" style property. Constructed in pressed red brick and terracotta, with painted bathstone dressings, it has a slate roof and prominent tall red brick chimneys with panelling. At the front there are three bays with a recessed centre between two gables and mullion and transom windows. There are cornice, and frieze with swags above the first floor, and to the centre, there are steps up to the porch with two arches to the front and single arches to the sides.
