A stony scatter is located on level ground on the west side of Mynydd Myddfai at 412m above OD. It lies close to the perimeter of the LNG pipeline development and was first noted in relation to that work.
It comprises a spread of medium to large grade stones and measures about 6m across and 0.1m high. Cordoned off within the perimeter following archaeological investigation during development work, the cairn extends slightly beyond the perimeter fence. It is not clear that excavations have taken place here and no further details are available.
