1. Cefn Cul farmhouse lies just off the A4067 on a farm track, approximately 3km North West of Glyntawe. The main structure has two slate pitched roofs and there is a lean-to extension on the East side and another slate pitch roofed extension on the South side. The original windows were replaced in 1988.

2. The building is believed to have been the warrener's cottage attached to the nearby Cefn Cul rabbit farm, the most campact of the three 19thC rabbit farms in the Brecon Beacons (see NPRN 84382).
