Cross Inn is a small village situated five and a half miles east of Aberaeron. The village is centred around a crossroads where the B4577 running east to west meets the B4337. Cross Inn has a post office; a public house called Rhos yr Hafod and a nursery school called 'Meithrinfa'r Enfys.'
