Derwen Hall Farmstead is set on south-facing slopes of the Vale of Clwyd, south east of the village of Clawdd-newydd. It includes the sixteenth century Derwen Hall (nprn 27107), a range of outbuildings (nprn 408947), pigsties (nprn 408948) and a water turbine (nprn 408949) which supplied power to the farm buildings during the early twentieth century.
