1. Cropmarks of a cursus monument, aligned NW/SE, first discovered from the air by Bob Jones of Welshpool Airport during aerial reconnaissance in 2009. Recorded first by RCAHMW during a flight on 29th June 2009.

2. Excavations in June 2009 by Nigel Jones at CPAT, in advance of Severn Trent Water pipeline, yielded radiocarbon dates of 4800 BP +/- 40, which calibrates to 3650 to 3520 Cal BC at the 95%, confirming a Middle Neolithic date.
