A 600mm-gauge railway, built on the site of Beddgelert Siding (a standard gauge siding off the Cambrian Coast line), some 700m long between Porthmadog (WHR) and Pen-y-mount stations. It was formerly known as the Welsh Highland Railway, but this title is currently used for the line between Porthmadog (Ffestiniog Railway station) and Caernarfon (see nprn 91420).
