Description
The Corris, Machynlleth and River Dovey Tramroad, later Corris Railway, (nprn 43018) was originally a narrow-gauge horse and gravity worked tramway built in 1858 to connect slate quarries in the Corris area to a transhipment point on the Afon Dyfi at Quay Ward. The terminal building at Quay Ward still stands, adjacent to the Cambrian Railways track.
