A bracken infested platform measures 12m (WNW-ESE) by 7m, cut back into rising ground to a depth of 0.7m and built out to 0.7m high. The rear hood is splayed out at its west corner. The slightly raised lip of the terrace suggests the buried footings of a building.
This is one of four rectangular building platforms located on the south-east-facing side of a ridge close to the point where the ground falls away steeply (NPRN 91838), and associated with narrow cultivation ridges.
