Description
The War Memorial, Milford Haven was erected in 1923-4 in pink granite with three white marble statues. It has an unpolished three-step plinth under a main pedestal, which is flanked by statues of a solider to the west and a sailor to the east. The pedestal has a polished shaft with carved names and inscriptions. The topmost statue is of an airman. The statues are life-size and were carved in Italy. The contractor was E Jones of Llanybydder and work was 'supervised by the surveyor J P Morgan.'
