Description

St Chad's was a boarding school in Prestatyn in the early to mid-20th century. It is now a Welsh-medium primary school known as Ysgol-y-Llys. The building is roughly H-plan, of 2-storeys with a hipped roof. In 2019 there were 387 pupils between 3 and 11 years old on roll, including 55 part-time nursery pupils. As part of Welsh Government's 21st Century Schools Programme, an extension was built and refurbishment carried out in 2014, costing £2.8m. The eight classroom extension enabled the removal of mobile classrooms from the site.
