Description
The war memorial dates from 1921 and consists of a bronze statue of a rifleman at ease, by W. Goscombe John, set on a pink granite pedestal with a front inscription and names to other faces. There is a rock-faced granite block below and a tablet with 1939-45 names added in front. It is set on a raised terrace, designed by Llewellyn Bankes-Price of Lampeter. There is a rock-faced rubble stone retaining wall with stone piers and low iron railings, four bays to North Road, eight to Bryn Road. There are matching gates and steps up at the south east angle.
