Rhydowen Railway Station was on the Whitland and Cardigan Railway (nprn 410169) and it opened in 1875. There was a through line with a passing loop; the passenger platform was on the up side. The station closed in 1962; although the wooden station buildings have been demolished, the nearby station house survives.
