Cropmarks recorded during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance in 2006 show the clear line of Roman road, preserved as a terrace on the ground passing Bryncoch, aligned generally south-west to north-east, to NW of main A 494 road. It passes to the south of a group of square barrows at Druid (NPRN 404711), and connects to the Roman road section at Pen y Pont to Rug (NPRN 404709) to the north-east.
