DescriptionUniversal Colliery (nprn 85091), Senghenydd, operated between 1893 and 1928; its scanty remains include the roofless and derelict shell of the former office building, to the north. This is a two storey rubble-stone built structure, formerly under a gabled slated roof, with red-brick dressings to the corners and cambered-top openings; it measures approximately 22m long by 10m wide.
