Description
This cottage possibly dates from the late-eighteenth century or possibly earlier, as it is appears on the tithe maps of c.1830 in the ownership of Capel Hanbury Leigh (d.1861), who inherited the Hanbury estate in 1795, and occupied by one John Williams. The house consists of two two-storey ranges on an L-shaped plan. The openings are modern and the structure has been pebble-dashed likely obscuring older features.
