DescriptionTregwynt Woollen Factory was recorded as working in 1952; overshot wheel, all iron. Originally an eighteenth century pandy (fulling mill), Tregwynt has been owned and worked by the same family since 1912. Local farmers would bring their fleeces to be spun and woven into wool blankets for their families. Today the woollen blankets, spreads and throws woven at the mill are exported all over the world.
