Site Record

A single-arch stone bridge carrying the former road between Llanelli and to Old Castle Colliery over the New Cut Canal (nprn 34397). It lies immediately north of the South Wales Railway bridge (nprn 411122) over the canal. A length of the road, including the bridge, has been isolated by the construction of a new road (Traeth Ffordd) adjacent, although the bridge still stands.
