The slate processing shed is shown on OS 1st edition mapping and measures some 33m in length and 11m in breadth. The building is still extant with the chimney for the steam plant which provided power for the machinery inside also still standing at its northeast corner. The walls have areas of breeze block infilling and repair. Building remains in use by a commercial company.
