The Old Franciscan Friary in Penmaenmawr was built c.1908. It is a 3-storey, rendered building with a hipped roof and a central pedimental gable above which rises a stone crucifix. There had been a 3-foot high statue of Jesus Christ above the round headed entrance until it was stolen in 2009. The last friars moved to a friary in Pantasaph and the building is now empty.
