Description
Hillhead, Llantwit Major, is a row of 2-storey whitewashed houses built in the early 19th century as housing for the poor of the parish. When the workhouse in Bridgend was opened they were sold as private residences. Originally each unit was divided into two with separate upper and lower accommodation and had long strip gardens to the front.
