Description
Red brick boundary wall with stone cappings and iron railings and gates associated with the Courtaulds Castle works site (nprn:- 41108). In 1917 Courtaulds had established Flint as a base of textile production with the Castle Works being developed in 1920 and the boundary walls survive from this period, along with two office buildings flanking the entrance to the site and at least one weaving shed on the site.
