Description
A pair of ring-ditches, or plough-levelled Bronze Age burial mounds, each measuring c.12m in diameter. The easternmost lies at the grid reference for this record, the westernmost lies some 100m away at approx. SO 26056042. Significantly both ring ditches occur outside and to the east of the very large triple-ditched Hindwell enclosure (NPRN 410154) and straddle the double-ditches of the equally large Hindwell east enclosure (NPRN 411603). The parchmarks in dry pasture show best on RCAHMW aerial photographs taken on 27th July 2006. The sites are under exploration by Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust (2010).
