The name 'Felin' is given to a building at this location on the 1st and 2nd editions of the 25-inch O. S. maps, dated 1889 and 1900. A leat still collects water from several small streams and drainage channels north of the village, and flows between the cottages and under the main A497 road at SH5276539706. There is now no trace of a mill building, which was probably demolished in the early twentieth century and the house, Cartref, built on the site.
