Laid out by voluntary labour in the 1930s, Pandy Park was constructed by Crosskeys Welfare Association in several stages and funded primarily by the Miners Welfare Fund. Lord Tredegar gifted the site in 1930 and the tennis courts, which no longer exist, were formally opened on 24 April 1931. Also no longer in existence is the miniature golf course, which opened in May 1931. The site now consists of the original rugby ground with terracing and a grandstand on its eastern side. It is the home of Cross Keys RFC.
