In the saddle between Foel Darw and Twyn Perfedd is a sandstone boulder. It measures 2.6m long (NE-SW) by 1.45m wide with a maximum thickness of about 0.6m. The ground around the boulder has been hollowed out revealing it to be lying on a raised, low stony `plinth? with stones around it. It is not clear if this is a formerly upright monolith broken at its base. It is intervisible with the nearby stone circle at Sychnant and those at Nant Tarw.
Site first noted by Simon Charlesworth.
